Ive put an avatar into my profile but its not showing up on the threads.
anyone got any ideas why?

i only just recently goy my avatar working.
from nark what u have to do......
This is what you have to do:
* Download that image onto your hard drive.
* Go into your profile and in the Custom Avatar File section, click on browse.
* Choose the image.
* And click Update.
what i was doing was uploading it to my homepage, and putting the url for the pic in my profile. but what u have to do is put it as a link from your hard drive.

thats the wierd thing, Ive done that and the pic is in the avatar box if I go into my profile its just not coming up on the threads or the public access to my profile

You're avatars waiting for approval, the problem is that it's a small image with heaps and heaps of whitespace around it, making it too big. If I autoresize it, the image will end up being a few pixels wide...
crop the whitespace and submit it again.. then I can approve it.
