I'm driving an ST162 with low springs (no the superlows) and it really needs some new shocks. any suggestions? my mechanic says he wouldnt put gabriels on a billy cart as i was quoted a huge amount for them by capital steering. So any other good brands?

firstly what are you planning to do ?
like whether u want drift, or just everyday driving because different shocks are better for different situations depends on what you want to use them for

It's interesting that you say Capital Steering quoted you large $ for Gabriels (Not that I'd use them)...I'm wondering just how much they quoted you, as they are going to do a quote for my car, using Kings progressive rate lowering coils and Konis from (I think) an Audi.
So, I'll be interested to get an idea of what a reasonable quote should be for a "good" setup...Bearing in mind that I priced TRD adjustables for mine at $300+ per corner...Plus $80 in freight to get them here etc etc.
