Would prefer to sell the Ex race motor complete, if it could be called that. Will let the thread know if I decide to part it out and give you a PM directly. Please PM me with how much you would be willing to pay for the new pistons and rings, and I'll give you first choice should I decide to go that way. I do have three spare domed pistons if you are interested, that I will sell seperately.
Forgot to say earlier, the race motor needs 1 new inlet and 1 new exhaust valve (dropped an exhaust valve hence the rebuild status, and the lack of the forth piston (I have that too, but it's only good for scrap - hole through the crown!)).

Yep will definately consider seperating the race motor, would like to find buyers for all the good bits before I start selling it piece meal though. Realise in doing this I'm going be left with "leftovers" so want to cover myself price wise when seperating. At the moment, I've had interest in the pistons and rings, cams, and ignition, let me know what you want and give me a price you'd be happy to pay for that part - as soon as the combined total equals what I want for the motor complete, it's up for grabs.

Long motor with twin Solex sidedraught carbies (no filters), flywheel, starter, alternator, new clutch, condition of motor is unknown internally, so assume suit rebuild, sensible offers please?!

Yep Marki, I mentioned something about it! Will give both you and Jason a PM with all the gory details!

I've sent a woman with "PMs" all over the place, if you've asked for something in particular, you'd best check yours?! Your PMs that is, not the woman?!

OK, for all those interested in parts from the 18RG, please put your "bid" in for the item you're interested in. I've had alot of interest in parting it out, but as I've stated in all PM's, I'll only do this once I cover the total price I want for the motor as a complete unit. If this cannot be achieved, I'll not seperate it! I have no "reserve" on any individual item, so have left it open to any interested party to offer what they think is fair for the part, having said that, we both have a fair idea of the value of the items on offer, so no more "silly" bids please (NO, $50 is not enough for the head with the cams and gears!!!)?!
