Hi
If you are interested in importing a 1988 model (or earlier) supercharged AW11 MR2 (4AGZE) or other 1988 model imports get in touch.
I have good contacts in Japan to source these rare cars in good condition, some with mods, some stock standard. Prices range from $6900 upwards (landed in Australia). Engineering costs and on-roads are extra, and can be organised if in Victoria.

did anyone see on toyota-mods list guy who got the '91 MR2 with 5SFE for U$1500 needing mech/body TLC... from a dealer!
Weird market we have, or them. I know where I'd rather be in this instance!

Hi all,I can vouch for mcboom and say that he is excellent to deal with as i am the proud owner of the white on silver car in the picture and will be in possession of it in a few days time. 
Marc has been superb to do business with and is an excellent comunicator.I was very worried about buying a car this way but this guy is definately trustworthy.

good luck with the vehicle. I looked at some specs and saw 1232kg for AW11 MR2... I can't get my head around where all the weight is?

Specs i have seen quote about 1180kgs kerb weight for an s/c aw11.
Toyota went for quality and safety above overall weight saving when designing the MR2.
The cars feel very light and chuckable when driving compared to anything else i have driven including mk2 MR2's.
