Id love a Snob cruise
Any weekend is good, provided it starts late morning. Waking up before 9am is just not possible on a weekend Im afraid.

Here's a suggestion for a cruise. Start in say Hornsby, head through Galston Gorge, out the back of dural to Berowra waters then either pick up on the old Pacific highway or head down Bobbin Head Road to Ku-ring-gai national park for a BBQ.
Lots'a fun roads to play on

I like your thinking!!!
This would have to be a day thing maybe meet at around 11:00am or something as the drive wouldn't be too far...
Karl, if we go the gorge, watch out for the walls at the end of the hairpins!!! ...

Im liking these ideas out through the gorge and stuff, and yes a bbq sounds like the plan. how long does everyone wanna spend out on the road, cause thornleigh maccas to bobbin head is about 15min on the road, and park entry is big bucks($10).
justin
ps keep the ideas coming

I guess the cough was a subtle nudge to get this thing rolling.
If everyone is happy with my proposed rout, I will get it organised.
Joel, any chance of making this an official Toymods cruise. I am happy to get it all running, just let me know what date fits in with the calender.

Hey, how organised are you North Shore people? I used to live on the Lower North Shore and now live in Queensland with my sweet little Corolla. Reckon you people would be up for a cruise next time I drive her down to Sydney? Just an expression of interest.

sorry guys, i should have really go this thing going by now, its just that i have had some big changes with the plans for my motor, i was going to supercharge the 2tgeu, but now im going to use the 3t crank and get it ported polished and balanced, running with 2litre injectors and a microtech digi 1 computer.
so it will still be a little while untill i get the biatch running again.
so if someone wants to organise this and make it happen, that would be wild.
thanks

I'm organising a treasure hunt to launch our new local car club on May 10 if anyone's interested. It starts in thornleigh at 1.30pm - I can't tell you exactly where its going , but I can tell you that your selected route is very close, so there'll be some very nice roads to drive on! I'm hoping to put up a post on the Cruise forum with more details soon (just in the process of getting approval from the board) - will let you know!
For now you can click on the link below for a sneak peak!

I have planned a route and set a tentative date for the first or second weekend in June.
I have notified the board to see if they want to make it an official cruise and I will have a chat with them at the next meeting, so expect the info on Tuesday week.
