 Wanted: W5x shifter mechanism

Hi guys,
I'm after the entire shift mechanism (including rubber boots) for the RA60. I've bent a few things with my hard shifts. 
I've also killed the rubber boots when pulling the damn things off so now I get assulted by gearbox oil smells in the cabin. Sheering a bolt didn't help either.......
Can anyone help me?

The piddly little rubber boot (that covers the 4 bolts that hold the shifter) is about $10 from Toyota. The larger one covering the tranny tunnel hole was unavailable for my Mk2, but you may have more luck with your 'late model' RA6x. As for the mechanism itself, try Rod Hadfield (Castlemaine Rod Shop) if nobody here can help you.

I tried to buy the part I needed from Toyota. I was told that I'd have to buy the entire assembly.
Then I was told that they don't manufacture them any more....

I picked one up from pick 'n payless not long back, and I've seen plenty of RA60s at wreckers.

Hey Joel,
There is a difference between the shifter for a W50 and the W55-58. The slotted ball section is actually larger and won't go in the W58 type box.

Yeah I know they're different, but RA60s (or I should have put RA6Xs) have W55 or W57s (one or the other), not W50s.

Yup, W55 or W57 in RA60s.
I'll try the wreckers on Monday (first free day for months!).
