Hi, I'm thinking about getting an old car and having muck around motokana's with my mates. Any suggestions on what a good car (preferably RWD) would be? $200 or below
are 2TG engines cheap and what cars did they come in? (i'm a late model rolla boy myself and have no knowledge of the 2TG's)
I want it to have go and maybe room for a little hotting up (twin 48mm side draft carb's, and straight out extractors lol)
Obviously i wouldn't care if the interior was crap, cos i'll rip it all out except the 2 front seats.

it a sacrifice
you can pick up running XT130's for dirt cheap and they will last forever, downside is they're slow as shit
on the other hand old corolla's and 'R' series corona will have more power and a relative amount of reliability
all of which are dirt cheap

buy an old KE30 with a 3K - you will be UNABLE to break that motor. Its slow as shit, but goddam unbreakable!
Then if it breaks, track down a busted old 2T-G and do a conversion - its not too hard

The old 80 model Corolla has seen and won many a motorkana. It came equiped with mags and in lovely canary yellow for just $150.
