Hi, i was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction as far as a good dyno tunist goes? I'm wanting to retune my 4agte, its running a microtech mtx8, so someone good with microtechs would be good, and maybe if you knew of a general price range?
Oh and in Sydney too

Sorry to 'jack the thread, but I am wondering if other posters can give me an idea of just what kind of benefits I could expect if I were to go to the expense of getting the Cressida dyno-tuned?
Is it "simply" a matter of adjusting air/fuel mixtures across every graph "point" in the map...resulting in small increases in efficiency/power across the range? (Or do I not have a clue what I'm talking about? )
BTW. I'm running an Autronic SMC on a 1UZ...

my mates use " hitman " ( www.hitman.hm ) he is perfect for haltechs, but he also does other systems.. he is really good at what he does, but charges a fairly hefty price.. as always, you get what you pay for.
Cheers!

Yes I know a good place for Microtechs.
Hornsby Presteige and Performance do a great job and very cheap too!
They tuned mine and it only cost $100, was probably on the dyno for almost two hours.
Tony Rigolli know alot about them too but are more expensive. Cost $300 for two hours on the dyno.
What did the hitman charge you Matt16v and MR.2?
Biased99, its quite important to get the a/f's correct. Should be done with a wideband sensor on the dyno to get good test parameters set. Power can definitly be gained as well as engine health and longevity.
