Hello
If i want to run an efi system can i addapt a in tank pump in a standar sprinter fuel tank. I had a look inside the tank and it has two baffles, one on each side of the pickup. There is not one at the back because the fuel sender would get in the way.
Any help would be great and please dont say use wogadore fuel pump externally

The problem with external pumps is that you should be running a lift pump and surge tank.. And there noisy and smelly. Efi tanks have baffels to prevent fuel surging .. Just makes it a whole lot easier ....

in regards to external pumps and aussie spec sprinter tanks, when i put the 4age in my first sprinter i used a VL commodore pump mounted above the diff, no clearance probs (even with low springs) no surge probs, noise was suppressed with rubber mounted bracket, and since it didnt leak, it obviously didnt smell! mounted up to the standard lines it worked sweet, but admittedly the engine was left resonably stock, so i can't comment on problems which may arrise with higher output motors using this type of system. my levin import used a pump which looked identical to an aw11 pump, and when i fitted the gze the in tank pump was replaced with an sr20det item (only just fit in the tiny hole for factory in tank pump)

A friend of mine has just had his sprinter tank modified by taking it out and getting a vn commo tank from the wreckers and getting the vn baffels and pump placed in the sprinter tank.
All up cost was around $250-$300.
This gives near no pump noise and is much cleaner and quieter than any external option.
Best way to go in my opinion...
Good luck.
