i'm after a T series 3.9 or 4.1 diff.
also, any idea if you can change the speedo drive in the gearbox to suit a different diff ratio from standard?
Cheers

i dont think you would need to change the speedo as the gear would just be turning faster or slower depending on the ratio, but the speedometer would still be correct
it when you change tyre sizes that you need to change the speedo as it thinks the wheel is doing 'x' amount of revoloutions at 'y' rpm when it is doing more or less
hope you can understand my dribble/madness

I cant figure out how you've come to this conclusion, the way i see it, with a higher ratio diff, the motor (& therefore the gearbox output shaft where your speedo reads from) will be spinning at a higher RPM for the same road speed, so your speedo would have to be out?!?!?
maybe i've got it all wrong.
cheers

Phil
Drop around some time. I have a great solution for you but would prefer to explain it to you face to face. If you haven't got time, I will catch up with you on Sunday at Goulburn.
