fuel pump flow for MA61 supra?? Thu, 13 March 2003 09:58 Go to next message

anyone know what the flow (@pressure would be good) of a stock MA61 external EFI pump is? or what size injectors came in the car?
Thanks in advance, Stewart

They come with 182cc injectors. Don't know the flow rate of the pump, but apparently it's good for about 300hp.

thanks for the quick reply Norbie Smile
so for 6 x 182cc injectors ~1100cc/min at least.
from random sites, 300hp equals about 4x480cc or 6x320cc injectors.... hmmm.

do all Toyota EFI systems run at about 45Psi??

can you have a pressure regulator both before and after the fuel rail? would it make any difference?
hmmm..

Cya, Stewart

Fuel pressure varies across models, but on my Celica it hovers around 30-35psi (I've installed a fuel pressure gauge).

The fuel pressure regulator should be located after the fuel rail. I can't imagine why you'd want one before the fuel rail?
