Anyone know what resistence the efi temp sensor usu outputs? More specifically, what range of values represet very cold to normal running temp? (7afe, however prob same as 4age etc?)

And where is it usu located in toyota 4cyl engines (so i can tap in and alter the signal Very Happy

The sensors are just thermistors! They dont really out put a voltage! The resistance just varies up and down.

In my ST205 there are 2 sensors! 1 is in the intake manifold and the other is in the air box. I just did a quick test and got this results:
27degrees = 1.8kohms
18degrees = about 2.2kohms

I'm not sure how accurate those temps are I was just using a cheap thermometer beside the sensor!
