hi guys,
need some info on 1jzgte into cressida,mine is latest mx73 ,1987(nov) and i need lots of info on conversion !!!
currrently 5mg so engine mounts completely different?,what about transmission ,mine is recently rebuilt elec.o/d auto.
should i go for manual if so which (5speed)?
any and all input will be greatly appreciated.

There is a fair bit of info on my site for mx83 conversion(link at bottom of this post) .MX73 is very similar except for custom mounting intercooler radiator etc. A few guys like luke may be able to offer more experienced detail on this
your auto WILL NOT do use the matching auto for the engine you WILL need a half cut for crossmeber etc
But GET AN AUTO you only ever buy a 1jz manual for fun factor the auto is MUCH QUICKER

i recently wire up a 1jzgte in an mx83
it took ages makin sure the auto was workin and all the lights in the dash
and the overdrive and stuff
so if u need someone to wire it up i can do it

u need an msd tacho adapter or a module from sixworks
i can get the cruise workin i think
just need the speed sensor signal to the cruise
