I've always liked that model of seca.
Do something about those RIMS though, I'm not a fan of the cannon either, but, it will come in handy when you supercharge it.

Dag namit!!! I thought you were going to tell me where a dumped Corolla Seca was so I could get some spare parts... Oh well...
Man your Rolla is Low!!! And whats so bad about cut springs??? I bought my car and then found out later on that they were cut... I drive the car like a maniac and I've had no troubles at all... Just a few rattles and knocks when the car gets sideways or hits some nice potholes ...
I'll be getting some King "Super Low" Springs soonish...

Sweet as man, thats lower than mine
I got me a pair of those "super low" kings installed for $400 and they do drop it hey. Not as much as cutting though, then again, i have a fucking challenge getting up some driveways without scraping sump as it is!!
Give it 6months of punishment, and the cars down another cm or so

thats the first thing an accident investigator looks for, cut springs
what you've actually done is made your car ride in bump steer, which means your getting worse performance than you would with the standard springs, the reason ppl get pissed at f#cktarts who do this is because its dangerous not only for you, but for the ppl who drive around you... i had a friend in hosital becuase a pimply 17yo cut his springs, ran into my mate at 100kph because the car wouldnt handle, he was on life support for 3 weeks, and another 8 months learning how to walk with steel rods in back
get it lowered properly, or get the O.E springs back on!

sorry to hear about your friend toycelica77. that is tragic.
just a question : progressive rate springs are bad to cut but are fixed rate bad asell? snce its uniform all the way does it effect the nature of the spring as much as if it were progressive?

the danger of cut springs is that if cut too much they are no longer held captive when the suspension is at it's full extension, (ie if you get a bit of air) when car comes back down onto incorrectly seated springs it gets very messy.....

Do what you want.. but when you go out on the road, please let us all know so we can avoid you.
If you want to be low, why not do it properly rather than doing a half-ass job? I can't believe that people that love their cars that love to make it as perfect as possible do a bodgy job on springs.
Plus you don't need to drive like a dick to crash. Being able to avoid a possum that might appear on a blind corner with cut springs will get you more outta shape than stocky.
But then, there's no law against stupidity.......
