AW11 Front Brake conversion Mon, 17 March 2003 00:52 Go to next message
ST205 four piston calipers and ~300mm x 32mm discs. This looks like a nice conversion for any quick AW11, pity you basically can't buy the components anywhere.

According to the page he's also working on a rear brake conversion that should be quite interesting but I don't like the idea of having a hydraulic hand brake in a road car.

Wouldn't it be better to upgrade the rear brakes first cause thats where all the weight is?
And better brakes on the front would cause the nose to dip down heaps more.

Centre of gravity moves towards front of car during braking.
So during braking there is more weight in front.
Front brakes do about 80% of braking.
MR2 is no exception...
...I think Rolling Eyes .
