VVT on 4AGE 20V using Microtech MTX-8

Does anyone know how this works? When I put AUX output on low cam comes on but does not swich at swiching point. When I put AUX output off low cam is off and drives like a dog until 4000rpm when high cam kicks in and goes wild! Aux output has been wired to give negative output signal via a relay to give the switchable +12v signal that VVT solenoid requires.
Any assistance is much appreciated.

Does the VVT solenoid really need a seperate relay? If it's just a switch I would hook it straight up to the aux output. The T-VIS solenoid on my bigport motor was hooked up like this with no problems (eventually).
You need to adjust the aux output to switch off at around 4-4500rpm somewhere, preferably at the same revs as the standard computer.
It's also possible to adjust the aux output to switch on or off at whatever revs or MAP you set.

I've tried just running VVT with the AUX output which is a 5v signal, but VVT needs a 12v input to operate the VVT solenoid. How does TVIS work? is it on before 4000rpm and then switches off after the switch point? Or vice versa?

Ah ok, that's a bit of a bugger then.
With the standard computer & set up T-VIS switches off over 4 or so grand, but I set it up the other way round on my motor, which worked ok with the solenoid/vac switch backwards.
it's pretty easy to change the signal to be off or on at the set rpm, there's an auxoutINV option which turns the signal off at the set rpm when it is selected.
