 who was PLUCKA.....

 ok, i have always wondered who plucka duck was...
well i know who plucka was, but who was plucka???
was it just some stand in dude that would put on the plucka outfit? or was it a full time position for someone? (would of been a cool job).. hehe
plucka was in Darwin when i lived there years ago, but i didnt get to see him (because of work)...
i have met Darrel Sommers in person, but i would much prefer to have met plucka...
i can remember watching plucka duck sometimes and the dirty things he would do behind some of the more 'pleasant' women that were up on the set.. haahahaaa, used to make me laugh.. 
so does anyone know who was plucka???

This might be compleatly wrong but I always thought "Plucka" Was a AFL player or a Footy Player, I think I can remember him but I never realy followed AFL or Footy.

Me suspects it's probably the same thing as the Scream plot ... different people playing behind the mask of Plucka ... afterall, you don't see the whole Hey Hey it's Saturday crew in the camera all at once, do ya?
Daryl Sommers behind one skit, Molly another, Red Simon etc etc ...

Wasn't plucka the guy who owned the car yard that sponsored that segment.
Can't quite remember but wasn't it a toyota car yard too.
I remember definately it was him the time someone won the car.
Weather it was set up or he did it everyweek i don't know

Yeah I always thought it was Russell too. He was such a top guy. Where is he now days?
Plucka was VERY rude...great to see him "mounting" attractive women.
I watched an old episode of Hey Hey the other day and i'm not sure if TV has gotten better or my views have changed but it didn't seem as funny as it was when it was on each weekend. It was a great show then and looked poor now. But has anyone watched the Neighbours on at 3pm? Not that todays Neighbours are great but they are better than they were back then. Only the characters were better back then. Good old Joe Mangle and Des. Can't beat them!

if it was a footy player, it probably would've been that warick capper wanker, the way he acted on big brother celebrity wasn't all that different to the way he sometimes acted, nowadays he needs all the cash he can get, hes pretty untalented and universally hated {capper not plucka}

Frankly, Hey Hey was a better show when it was primarily a "vehicle" for cartoons (complete with the long-retired Ostrich puppet - apparently had an issue with piles? What you get for making a living with a hand up your a**!!! LMFAO ) ...I just couldn't see myself watching it when it changed format to a *variety* show...then or now, it was crap, IMHO.

Can someone host a pic for me? I have a piece out of an old magazine I found about plucker. And Hey Hey.
I am a teacher and kids were cutting up magazines for a collage and I saw one had a magazine that must have came out the week before the last Hey Hey and I had just read this topic on the forum and I said to the kid..."i'll have that tanks". Thought it would be great for on here.
