i'm keen on this, but owing to my location(newcastle) is it possible for the cruise to come northish, this way i can meet up with you guys a bit closer to where i live, or if any other AE86 from this way want to travel in convoy down to a meeting place this would be good, are you thinking day or night? im keen on any day any time.

maybe a break along the way for food ?

WTF is going on with these cruise locations???
We could only do two MAX... And they would be the Royal National Park and then on to Kangaroo Valley...
You weren't thinking of doing all of these locations at once were you???

I think I'll give this one a miss... Too much cruising is unhealthy not mentioning the Petrol prices at the moment...

Count me in dude......Possibly can get two more.
so 3 Hachi's all up.
Oh, and a suggestion for everyone to meet up on the north side, Thornleigh Macca's carpark at 10am - people from the south can cruise up after they meet up together and meet us there!

hey guys just a reminder the cruise is 1 week away
http://members.optushome.com.au/j0hnny/Map%20for%2 0cruise/
in the link are maps for the cruise meeting points up and until pacific highway where we all know where we are heading.
I have made parts in the map for 56k modem people, this should give people a fair idea meeting places from north to south.
Thanks just 1 week away guys.

Well,it was a fun day out.
we had seven cars by the northern meeting point, lost one soon after to a personal emergency, and picked up another who was just cruising along minding his own business about halfway down the track.
some of the guys got some good group and individual photos, which I hope will get shared between us. maybe a PM to each car that went with a link or something would be a good way to do it...
it was good to meet a few new guys, and check out a few different cars.
"we'll have to do this again sometime"...

yes the meeting point wasn't the greatest, I think we probably lost a few people because they couldn't find it.
Initally i couldn't find it either and met some other sprinters who couldn't either hehe
but a bunch of us managed to find each other, so was a fun day...
Apart from my nice scare on the old pac as the road went from dry to wet, with a big hang out of the tail as I looked at the guard railing.
See you all on the next sprinter cruise

*L* at Ribbo's "moment"... yeah,a couple of guys got a little carried away for a while, but it didn't end in tears,so that's not too bad. it's a good thing the 86 is so predictable a chassis ne?
I said at the start, and all through the day that I was going to go easy because the surface was unpredictable. as far as I knew, most were happy with the pace I set (as I ended up leading for most of the day).
next time we'll go when it's fully dry,and there is a bit less traffic....
