Yeh I used both gze ones on the top (gearbox and near cam covers) I just cut down the tube that runs through them with a hack saw, they fit realy nice and snug
X member - Well With the gze brackets and ae82 x member there needs to be a spacer like 5-10cm, which is just gonna look farking rediculous. Before the conversion I was told 30mm which isnt so bad. Someone must know which mount brackets to use and which mounts to use.
Problem (2) - The passenger side driveshaft boot (inner one), sits really close to the body. If i tilt the motor slighty it moves away from the body. Would this harm the motor having it tilted like 10degrees or does it have to be dead straight?

Just put the cross member in temporary place. It looks like when the motor is straight, there is a 5-6cm gap between the cross member and body (at the back) and the front is like a 2-3cm gap. But with the motor straight the drive sharft boot hits the body
The cross member is going to look fucking stupid hanging down so far.
Could someone with a AE82 GZE please help, some pics would be helpful to
xpimp - have you done any wiring???

I did Mangew's AE82 with GZE, and it will depenmd what motor you're using. I used an AE101 engine.
The driver side chassis mount is AE82 with a spacer tube used for the bolt closest to the cam cover.
The passenger side gearbox chassis mount i had to modify to sit correctly, I used a 4AGE gearbox bracket and added a section to it for the third bolt, and slotted the holes to mount the engine at the correct angle, you can test this by the mount angles to the bracket, and pulley spacing from the chassis rail. actual mount is ae82 too.
x-member was an utter bitch, i used a 16mm spacer plate at the back when i had the engine sitting correctly. at the front of the 4agze box i used an ae82 rear gearbox mount bracket turned upside down and holes slotted slightly and std 4age front mount. rear i used the 4agze bracket and ae82 rear mount, i also had to weld a plate under the rear of the x-member and redrill the holes to the far edge of the x-member to line the mount up correct. similar with the front.
It is a pain in the ass.
Regards,
Michael
