ok, I know it's mundane

I know you cant mix clutch fluid types (as in dot types)
does this extend to not mixing brand names? sounds silly, but dont want to go damaging anything through ignorance ('cause ignorance I have plenty of)

when my clutch mast cyl was leaking into the cabin i mixed brands and it didnt cause any trouble, just ask the bloke at the auto store what brand mixes well. Or drain it and run 1 brand, easy.
