It's the usual story...Talk to someone in the know!

For example, What use do you have in mind? Road? Track? both? In what ratios?
Also, which EBC pad are you after? Green? Blue? Red? (Answer depends on intended usage - see above!

The reason I am putting this forward, is that I have just gone through the process and was asked similar questons to those above...Eventually, for my intended usage, we decided on machining of front calipers, and fitment of Lucas pads all-round (apparently these have a 650-degree heat range, but have better initial bite than some of the more race-oriented stuff - important in Canberra's winter!
So, ask the people who know their shit, establish what you need, and you're on your way...

Thanks mate,

To be honest.. it would be more for hard street driving.. not really track stuff..
So you would reccommend these lucas jobbies? How much they set ya back and where from?

Thanks for your help..

$396...Includes:
Machining of front rotors
Lucas pads front and rear
Wheel bearings
Labour (I'd have liked to do this myseslf, but there isn't much point having the machining done - which I can't do - and then driving around with the shitty pads in it ATM).

As for whether I'd recommend them, they're being fitted today, so I don't have any long-term impressions as yet, but I'll make an assessment in a few months, after varying types of driving.
Still, if they're effective in a 1500+kg Cressida, they should be O.K for the smaller cars...

I have EBC greens in my Evo and I've got no complaints.
They handle the hard street/open road abuse well, and still stop when they are cold.
I've used them for the last 3yrs, they were $150 back then.

I've had a few sets of EBC greenstuff, and I'm generally fairly happy. They seem to take the heat fairly well, last reasonably well, and do work from cold. However, the claim of keeping wheels clean is slightly off - yes they are cleaner than bendix, but they do still dust up a bit.

As for buying them, either look at the EBC website and get your nearest retailer, or go to autospeed shop www.autospeed.com.
