 2tg timing chain tensioner???????

heya guys, im just wondering if the 2tg heads (88260,88222,88220) all have the same chain tensioners, cause i have tried the one out of the 88260 in my 88220 head and i cant get the chain tight enough.

all twin cam toyota engine tensioners around that era are interchangable- 2TG,2TGEU,3TGTEU,18RG,18RGEU, even 5ME with some mods to the piston.
you cannot tighten the bolt on it anymore? chances are the seals may have gone (if the chain is getting oil to it  ????) and is therefore officially rooted. I think last time i spoke to rod try he had one spare, but wanted a fair price for it. i've got one, check your post in the wanted section.
