5E-FHE Toyota Sera Engine Sat, 22 March 2003 08:39 Go to next message
I'm look for a 5E-FHE Engine as I've blown up my sera engine. (Bottom End Bearings went, Its Damage is damn Ugly)

I've been quoted $750 for one, and $600 for install.
Does anyone know if I'm getting ripped off, or is that a good price for the engine, also is $600 to much for labour to swap the old for the replacement engine. Confused
I would appriciate any advice on this at all.

Thanks fo the info, I do want to do it myself but I just dont have the tools.
My double garage has trunk engine hoist hooks and I do hope to utilise them one day.
Till then I guess I must pay the price.
Any Idea on how much a block and tackle are( The pully system, I think thats what its called)

yeah, 600 bucks for install is not bad, its not a bad price for an engine swap. $750 for the engine sounds ok as well.
