Does anyone know of any one that produces trumpets for a 2TG running sidedraft solex's?
Any info greatly appreciated.

You should be able to use Weber DCOE trumpets, since Solex's are basically DCOE clones. Try a carby specialist.

Ah just one little thing to keep in mind.
Check the clearence between the carbi and the brake master cylinder, I think you can only fit 40mm long trumpets on it.

Try Thornbury Carbs on High Street, Thornbury. Opposite the Salvation Army Hall. He's a Weber specialist, has socks, trumpets, DCOEs everywhere. Going in there makes me horny.

Trumpets are metal cylinders with a flared end which attach to each throat of the carby. It is possible to alter the engine's torque curve by varying the length of the trumpets; it's called resonance tuning.

Not only is the length important, but the curved entry is just as important. This increases air velocity.
