FIRENZA - Tyres anybody here have em? Mon, 24 March 2003 05:00 Go to next message
I have just got 17 inch Firenza Tyres - I never heard of them before but got them for $160 each as they are new to the market and want to build a name. They are made by a company called SUMO>

Has anybody here have em on their ride or heard about them. So far I think they are great.

I work casually at beaurepairs. We sell them. We sell shit loads of them. They are a very good tyre and are cheap to!

I will prob put a set on the rolla when i get some money and when they bring out 205/40/17's only make 215 at the moment. They are spose to bring out 205.65.15 in june, so prob throw a set on dads commo.

They are great Tyres yes.. Twinkly Would you know how much beaurepairs sell the 235/45 17's for - Just want to make sure I paid a good price $160 each inc fitting and balancing (The Tyre Factory).

I was told the last like 50-70,000 found it hard to believe as they are 17's but was later told these tyres are medium compound rubber there for The Treadwear is 300 - meant to be long lasting and Good Performance.

The three numbers...

ok say 205 / 45 / 16

205 = 205mm wide
45 = Means it is 45% as high (as in sidewall) as it is wide (205 x 0.45 = height).
16 = 16" rim.

Cheers
Wilbo
