AE86 Rear Diff with LSD - Expressions of Interest

Seems like I've stumbled upon the Holy Grail at last ... AE86 rear diff complete with cables, rotors & calipers plus LSD.
Am still thinking whether I should fit it or not - I've got an open diff with rear discs ATM so an aftermarket LSD is another option for me.
Dunno but if someone offers me a good price, I may just part with this and keep my current diff.
Details of the diff are that it's straight from Japan wreckers (& not someone else's AE86), has 3 months wrecker's warranty (although dunno how much faith you can put in this) and it's the complete assembly. Am still awaiting delivery but that is the details as they stand so far.
If you're looking for a bargain, look elsewhere - since when was the last time you saw one of these for sale on a forum like this? Toyo Pros sold one recently for $1,650 and I've heard others go for as much as $2,200. Am looking perhaps around $1,500-1,600 mark.
Hmmmm ... if no takers, guess it'd go into the old girl in about 3 weeks time. Then there will be an open diff for sale ... any offers for that as well?
Am in Brisbane - if you want more info, just PM me.
Cheers!

I'll put up a separate thread if the open diff becomes available. Not sure but I think $800 will secure it for sure. Postage within Australia would be $100 max then I'd estimate.
Otherwise, once again ... if no takers, I might hold this for that second AE86 I plan on getting someday in the far future ...

Doode ... I doubt the diff without the LSD is worth something to anyone. Who'd buy a rear diff without the centre? (Except for Pepsicola that is - no offense).
If you want an LSD centre, why not buy a KAAZ aftermarket unit for $1,870? That is my other option at the moment.
Widowmaker, it depends on what engine you have up front. If you have a 4AC, I doubt the splines will match nor will you be able to use your existing 2 piece drive shaft. I got around mine by fitting a custom 1 piece drive shaft. Bear in mind though that I have both a 4AGE and rear disc diff at both ends so at least the splines match up.
Cheers.

o sorry i didn't realise it'd be that hard to replace the centre with an open diff centre and sell it as a non-lsd diff

Hi ppl ... update on the diff ...
Someone bought it off me late this arvo so it seems like I'll be keeping me open diff then ... dunno whether to be happy or not.
Thanks anyway for those ppl who've shown interest and good luck in your search for the Holy Grail. Me have tasted it albeit for a brief moment ...
