On 3T-GTEU, stock ECU, CT20.

heres the situation, i wanna use a restricter valve to increase the boost from the stock 7psi, but i hear that restricter vavles get blocked easily(meaning unlimited boost) and bleed valves are useless, you get no low end boost, and the turbo works alot harder(cause of bleeding off).. any other ways to increase boost?

With fuel cut disconnected(in order to go over 7psi), and for example, a blocked restricter valve(endless boost).. i have no protecton? it'd just keep boosting till it blew up? or is there another form of protection?
