I have a ct 26 high flowed to a t04e has the 54 compresser all the ceramic has been taken out, its all steel now...
i just wanted to know what the most effecent boost rating on this, im looking at 22psi i know it will boost to that but i dont know if it will be making good power with so much boost as the turbo is still pretty small.
i hope that i explained this well enough.

in stock form the ct26 is a bit inneficient (off ma70, mz21)The ct26 is the biggest stock turbo ever bought out on a car. but after it spools up it works quite well...can work them hard too...but the t04 rebuild is a great upgrade.

I've got the same hi-flowed ct26 on my supra at the moment.
It has the 54mm comp and 15 deg cut back on the exhaust turbine.
I haven't been able 10 run mine up to even 14psi yet cause the clutch just starts frying. It's putting out some serious ponies at 10psi. On 22psi it will be cranking out some big herbs! In the states they run them up to 28psi on 7mgte's. Any harder and your leaning on it too much.
On my website I've got compressor flow map for this exact turbo and if you look at it and understand compressor maps you'll see at 14psi its not even getting into the efficiency island so 22psi should put you right in there.
Is it a ct26 off a celica gt4 with twin entry or the higher flowing single entry? That will make a difference.

I'm running a ST165 hiflowed single entry CT 26 with 50mm comp wheel on my 3SGTE and pumping out 260rwkw on 23psi , this turbo has quite often pumped out more than 30psi and have had no trouble .

sorry to hijack the thread but why is single entry better than twin entry?? is it purely because it flows better?

I haven't gotten around to hiflowing mine, but I have a friend making 216rwkw on about 16psi with his hiflow. He runs a 57mm compressor wheel - but this 16psi is nowhere near maxed out, he still has factory injectors so that's the retarding factor.
Another friend from memory has the 60mm comp wheel and he ran something like 26psi - ran 12.1 in Adelaide. Unsure what power figures he made.
I wouldn't run much more than 20psi on a 54mm hiflow, but again I haven't had one myself, so I'm really just basing this on what I've seen from friends cars. The only way to truly find out what your turbo can do reliably and efficiently is to have it done on a dyno.

He made around 250rwkw, through an auto box, he also ran 22psi to be precise, 57mm compressor I beleive .
Specs of his car can be found @ http://www.turbosupras.com/pages/members/ntsemitsi dis.htm , although he's since fitted a GT40.

More than that I think, not that I've ever asked him
It is an impressive car I must admit. It truly does not sound like any other 7m-gte motor I have ever heard, almost seems to have a big-block sound to it. I think it's still awaiting a motec install, haven't seen him for a while though. Still waiting to be taken for a spin in it
