Your 5 cars

I was talking to a couple of collegues today about this.
If you had unlimited money and had to choose 5 cars. What would they be?
This is my list:
- Ferarri Enzo (gotta have the best)
- Lotus Exige (for when I feel like a no-compromise thrash)
- BMW M3 (daily driver)
- SW21/JZA80/S15 (fully worked, gotta be able to run 11s in street trim and at least match Ferarris/Porsches on the track)
- 4WD of some sort for bush bashing (Porsche Cayenne or Lexus LX470 or BMW X5 or Hummer)
I might forego the Exige for a Porsche 911 GT2 or Ferarri 360 though.
This is just a bit of fun. We can all dream, can't we?
It might also be a good insight into what people look for in cars.

I'm thinking somthing like this(not in order):
Ferarri Enzo (i'm with Nark on this one...they're shmick looking vehicles)
A fully decked out in bling bling Hummer(Because deep down inside i should of been born an black yankie)
My people mover will be somthing along the lines of an BMW M5...but possible with some custom turbofication (thank just call me frank for that one....well his BMW moofie collection at any rate)
My old school car will be somthing along the lines of a 1979 Porsche 911 turbo
And as my daily driver i'll take my current car(84 silver supra), chuck a Norbie and 2jz the bitch with some manual action(and cut out the little bits of rust and redress the inside)

Toyota 2000GT, must have classic.
Dodge Challenger R/T 426Hemi HT, ultimate penis extension.
Mitsuoka Orochi, seach google and see why.
TVR Tuscan Speed Six, mentioned above.
Mercedes-Benz 540K (1936-1939), unobtainable vintage car.
I would choose those cars IF I were multi zillionaire, but IF i were only some poor millinoire list would be something like:
Lexus SC430
Toyota Supra mk4 TT
Toyota Celica GT4 Carlos Sainz Special
Skyline GTR32-GTR34
and so on...
All seventies more or less sporty Japanese HT coupes would be cool too...
Celica RA28
Corona HT mk2 in various chassis
Mazda Cosmo
Skyline in various chassis
Datsun 180SSS HT
Crown HT in variuos chasssis
You get the point.

3. Lotus 11 - with Lemans kit
4. Lotus 23b.
5. Gold RA28 Celica with a turbo six.
Well I guess I will have to settle with 5th place.

My dream garage (no particular order):
- JZZ30 Toyota Soarer 2.5GT-L (modified but still for street use ), still in factory metallic silver with 18 or 19" Work VS-MX rims
- JZX110 Toyota Mark II Tourer V (also modified and used for when I need 4 doors), black of course with T&E Vertex kit and 19" Dronell rims
- Lexus SC430, black on tan interior or silver on black interior with 19" Advan Connoisseur rims
- Lexus LS430, black with Junction Produce kit and 20" Enkei Aegis rims
- JZA80 Toyota Supra RZ... must pull 11's on the quarter with T78 turbo kit blah blah blah... in either flat white, black or silver with no huge rear wing and 18" 5Zigen Heidfeld rims
- Toyota Sequoia Huge SUV for good ol' bush bashing fun... can't forget the full tilt ICE system (kitted with DVD players and bazillion LCD screens, full split system and 12" subs galore) and JAOS catalogue (front bullbar/skid plate combo, remote control offroad lights and 18x9" Victron Super ZIGA chrome rims... makes the dirt/mud easier to clean off!!! )
How could you resist an awesome SUV like this!

OK here it goes........
1) the BP kraft trueno (like in playstation game GT2)
2) R32 GTR (extensively modded) in purple/grape
3) altezza RS 200 in something yellower than yellow (?)
4) MX5 bullet (toss up b/n twin turbo lexus V8 or 20B) in cobalt
5) i was going to write some muscle car to keep my mates happy (bogans) but stuff it i think id rather have a brock lada samara! in beige if avaliable, with the optional head light protectors and wind sheild, possibly try to also mod it with mr brocks famous polariser- wouldnt be a proper brock car without it in my opinion.
if allowed a sixth... a police car complete with uniforms and lights, could have a lot of fun with this one on fri/sat nights.

1. McLaren F1 LM (orange/yellow)... something about being able to go 391km/hr appeals to me
2. Ferrari enzo (red)... sex on wheels, what more can I say?
3. JZA80 supra (black) .. modded to all hell, both in terms of weight (carbon fibre everything) and engine, and handling
4. my mk2 supra (black) .. modded much like the JZA80, but no bodykit (except possibly a rear wing for stability). ultimate sleeper.
5. r32 gtr ... for pure straight line speed
6. toyota 3000GT ... for *handling*
intense evil... 20b's are all turbo (afaik)
7. series 7 rx-7 with a 2jz-gte. bloody quick, light, and can be made to handle very well.
ok, so it's 7, but if I'm a gazillionaire i can have more than 5
the only other option for me would be an evo7, HIGHLY modified, and then add a chrome tip, put stock lancer wheels on it with fake mags attached, stupid back wing.. rice it up to the max with cheap mods then go around thrashing everyone
edit: but i know I'd be sick of that evo within a week, and I'd sell it for some new rubber for my other cars

what does this say about the 2jz????? j/k, the reason this transplant is done is because the rules for racing (GT class) allow the 4 cylinder motors to run higher boost than the sixes, thus the same ammount of power can be acheived but with less weight (engine), this is aparently not an uncommon conversion due to the japanese love of road cars which emulate the race cars.
how many driftable cars come factory with the 3SGTE???, this is perhaps why HPI voted it as best.
