Wiring : How does this sound?

Ok, call me lazy, but thats the way I'm feeling atm, I feel I've done the effort by bare-metaling my car.
I got in contact with Grant from Sixworks about sorting out a plug and play loom for the 1GGTE going into my Celica XX. He was unable to do it personally, but suggested I get in contact with Quickfit Motorsport.
They got back to me, and quoted me $550, I send them both the old loom, and the new loom, and they send me back a labelled one I just plug back into my car and fire it up. How does this sound?
Perth people, can you also recommend someone who can do this?
Thanks,
Nathan

i probably could as all it is is to match up the matchin wires
i used to work at quickfit 4 yrs ago and now i do my own mobile wiring business
the only problem there is gettin it 100% right
once u plug it into car u might get some tiny problems which without havin hee car infront of me would be difficult to diagnose
i recon i could do the wiring if u send me both wiring looms but dont go abusing me if theres tiny problems
i will check and double check the wiring job but cannot garantee to be 100% due to whenever doin conversion very rarely does the job work 100% theres always teething problems
i think the hardest part is if the car is auto
send me more details
the 1gg hasnt got too many wires
not like the 1jz so it wouldnt be tooo hard

Dude, I won't go abusing you
I've got all the pin outs and stuff for the 1GGTEU. I understand its hard from such a distance, but I just wanted to send it to a professional:
1) Because I've spent and am going to spend so much time working on the car, the wiring is just one thing I can't be f'ed doing
2) A professional would be able to do a neater job than I could as they have an idea what they are doing. I'd like it to look more factory, I could probably get it going...but I'd hate to think what'd it look like
There are other reasons, but I can't think of them because I just woke up

As for the little niggly problems that may arise, between me and my mate we should be able to figure them out, its just I don't really want to figure out ALL the niggly problems

Let me just add that I DID NOT recommend Quickfit. I may have suggested contacting Jim (sideshow) who used to work for Quickfit but I never recommended the company itself.

Couldn't agree more Jim.
BTW, we are about 2 weeks off trialling the next generation Tacho Booster with an onboard frequency divider/multiplier. Let you know when it's ready.

Grant, do you have any idea how I'll be able to hook up the 1GGTE to my old 1GEU tacho, and do you forsee me needing any of your products to get it working?

Just connect your original tacho wire to the negative side of the 1GGTE coil. All should work fine.
