1g dizzi timing Fri, 28 March 2003 22:35 Go to next message
Because I've taken the 1g dizzi off, and it's been spinning around and the likes, it's now thoroughly out of time.
Does anybody know what the timing marks are and how I reposition the distributor to make it back in time?

I'm assuming I would need the motor at cyl 1 TDC and then take the dizzi rotor off and put it at a certain point.
Any help would be appreciated

throw it away and use a 1GGE one. Trust me, it WONT and DOESNT work with aftermarket setups......due to the rotor button having 2 diodes in it.

shit, really. This I didn't know.

Where did you come about your 1gge alternator?

and, does it just slot in does it? How do you go about timing it when you get the 1g-ge one?
