I have 85/100s in mine. Makes things nice and bright on high beam. Just pull out theold globe and take it with you for a match at any car parts place!

Standard ones are 60/55w - you can increase this slightly, but if you want to go too far I'd suggest an extra set of relays right next to the lights - it's amazing the difference this can make.

they take H4 type globes, i recently replaced mine with "superwhite" type globes, they cost me 40 bucks, but i didn't want to by autotechnica dodgy ones (might have been ok)
to get them out, there is a wire clip that holds them in, pull the rubber cover off first and look for the loop on the end of the bit of wire. this kinda fits behind a hook, you can work out how it all works once you pull the globe out (i worked it out on a headlight i pulled out of my parts car)
i was going to run higher wattage ones, but was a little paranoid about meting the headlight housing, as they aren't the easiest things to get. the "white" bulbs definately look better though, might have to try the relay trick.

id say it is putting another relay/relays closer to the headlights, with phat cable going from the battery to the relay to the headlights, cuts sown on resistance in the wires, hence more current goes through the filaments in the bulbs.
i want high intensity discharge lights, i told a friend of mine this, and he said "that sounds fking dicgusting"
