Well, you guys missed out. It was a great day down at the Island. The Centreline Suspension 500hp 20B NA Sports Sedan was down there and ran a 1:34. The Soarer Club came down and ran their beasts....most were around the 2:00 to 2:02 mark. There was a beautiful black on black SC400 with a blower running - sounded very sweet indeed.
The Toyota boys excelled again....Glenn ran a 1:54 in his 3SGE RA45, and Steve pulled a 1:55 in his STOCK(!) 20V 4AG powered KE25. They both won their respective classes, of course. Looks like my competition will be a sweet silver 260Z with a berserk 3000cc L series hybrid monster. I better learn to drive!
My favorite, however, was the RB26DETT powered 260Z.....this thing was beautifully turned out and was insanely quick! Norbie, this could be you!

Excellent weekend... Got down to 2.11 in a 1990 Corolla SX so I was pleased. Improvement over the first time (2.17), put Koni's and king springs in the car. Big difference.
Those soarer's were quick in a straight line but i kept on arriving on a few of them going through turn 1... not really where you want to have that happen....
Pity I miss the next PIARC weekend, but I will be up at Wakefield Park running the data on a F3, so not complaining to much.
