I just took the 2S out of my Corona as it had a blown head gasket. A 3SGE is too hard a conversion and quite costly for the results. A 3SGTE is a very big ask as well but at least you get a good result.
Personally I just fitted a 1GGTE. Budget about $3500 for the project start to finish if you can do prettymuch it all of it yourself. Results are yet to be seen, shouldn't be too long now though.
If you're just looking for another 2S though, I got quoted $800 for one with a 5 speed (mine only had a 4 speed).. so you're looking at $500 or $600 for the engine alone. Might be able to rebuild yours for that money and have practically a new motor.

If you want one to rebuild, I have my old 2S in the garage still - yours if you want it. It's not much good as-is but should rebuild okay.
