Twin T/B on 4AGE

Has anyone ever thought about having twin throttle bodies on a 4age? Like you could cut one end off and get another T/B welded on and wire it some how.
Would there be any advantage??
Wouldn't having more air coming into the peluim be better then a single T/B??
I have seen this on a crappy charade and was just wondering how it would go on a 4age.
Any ideas??
Thanks

Most people opt for quad throttles when they reach the limitations of the factory single throttle. Note that you'd need some fairly serious mods before the throttle became a significant restriction.

One of the magazines (I think Zoom) had a twin throttle body intake plenum made up for an excel, but not because the standard one was a restriction. The twin throttles were used to balance uneven airflow to different cylinders. The cylinder closest to the TB gots less air as most of it was rushing past it, hitting the back of the plenum & giving the furthest cylinder plenty of air.
Now this was with a cheapass mass production car that wuld have had a matching induction system, I imagine the 4AGE would have a fairly better design.
It would be interesting to have it tested though.

Thanks for the replys.
Would you wire a extra TPS up to the original one and have a setup for the throttle cable??

You wouldn't use a 2nd TPS, but you would need to link it to the 1st throttle actuator.
Have a look at the cam/actuator that the cable goes too, there will probably be a second slotted cam for another cable to run off it, you'd just have a cable going from this to the new T/B.

id say it would be a lot easier to use one big TB than grafting on another.
as others have said, "if you were making enough power to need this mod", you would already have aftermarket management, so that would be no problem.
if you wanted to do something like this, the first thing to do would be throw away the stock inlet manifold.
if i ever get around to getting a 4age, i will be making a group A vn commodore style inlet manifold, only with one TB and only 4 trumpets,
maybeye something involving slide throttles.

actly the reasion for twin or quad t/b is better throttal responce more than flowing more air
