hi all
i'm new around here just introducing myself
i have bought a car recently and have joined a few forums so i can learn a bit about cars including mine.
i have seen a few of the members around in The TC16 forum other than that your all new so Hello and I hope to meet some of you on cruises and at events.

oh 1 more thing
i want to do a conversion with either a 4agze a 4age20valve 0r a plain 4age 16v but i have been quoted a minimum of $5000 for the conversion with just a 4age 16 valve including the price of the engine anyone got any ideas

well, that's about what you'll pay to have someone else do the conversion for you (depends too what you're trying to put it in)

definitly cheaper.. but I'm not the person to ask, since I have no idea on gze prices.
actually, it would probably end up costing you almost the same, but if you did it yourself you'd add a few more performance parts along the way (like a 2.5" exhaust all the way through

but like i said the engine in it is a weezy can't pass anything 4AC
hmmm what about a 4A-GTE engine (if i can get one and if they are street legal)

2.5" on a 4A-C?! Holy shit!
I have a 2.5" and my car prolly puts down 4 times as much power!
4A-GTE is a custom job, they don't come out of the factory like that. You'd have to get a 4A-GZE, remove the supercharger, and add a turbo.

u could do the 4age conversion cheaper, but the gze requires a bit more work.

a GZE should be enough for a lot of fun
