removing diff from a ra23 Thu, 03 April 2003 02:22 Go to next message
Hi all,
have been trying to remove the diff centre from the celica. Have followed the tech notes on doing this, but the axels are really hard to budge. Does anyone have any tricks for this??

Also will I need to get the bearing pressed back on to the axel, what happens here as I have never done this!???

Thanks

Get hold of a big slide hammer and they will come out easy but dont forget to undo the 4 bolts that hold the axel into the housing if you cant get hold of a slide hammer contact me through this forum cause ive got a big sucker at home that you can use.
Good luck these things are always more fun the first time you do them. Very Happy
