Inaccurate speedo readings Thu, 03 April 2003 10:25 Go to next message
Hi guys

How would i reset my speedo needle. I've managed to wound it wrong way, when i was changing the light bulbs in the dash. Everything is fine.. just the needle. Usually i can cruise 4th gear 60 khm at around 2500 rpm.. now its on 80khm with same revs.... Sad(((

funny thing is, when i reverse the needle goes down... like a negative speed...

thnks

I dunno dude, maybe you've turned the nedle around a little on the little spline it sits on. I guess just takeit out and move it around so it sits on zero.

I think you should check to speedo cable... it may not have been put back on properly.
