hey guys i was just wondering what will be a better option in terms for quick cornering like for track work and hard cornering. the 16v worked na ? or the 20v worked na ?
i currently have a 16v and want to make my car improve cornering i have suspension parts lined up just thinking whether i should switch over to the 20v with its VVT high power at high revs i want to play with higher revs than the standard 7000rpm. BTw i have a ae86.
thanks

Well your engine has to do with the power you have, not how well you corner. I suppose it depends which block is lighter.

Yeah, apart from the weight, the engine makes no difference to cornering speed.
A more powerful engine will increase your exit speed though.

Get the suspension sorted first, then think about the engine. Both are very close in weight terms, so it would come down to torque.
Cornering speed is all about tyres and suspension.

maybe he means powering out of corners? i'd guess they're both about the same, i haven't really taken a 20v hard through the twisties i've just really started taking my 16v hard (just boltons like exhaust) and it's got enough power to power out of corners, unlike the 4ac.
