Hello people! I'm new to this site but I like all the info that you guys have. I'am in the process of doing the 1jz swap into a left hand drive MA70. Has any of you done this and how did you handle the wiring harness? I also so have many parts for the 7mgte if you need anything. Later...WWW.Teamrush.net

Dude, do you have performance parts or bolt on parts/accessories for the 7MGTE ?? If so, and the prices are ok I am happy to pay postage.

Let me know what you have, and rough prices in US dollars.

Most of the members on here would be Australian, so it will probably be hard to come across information. I'd suggest that you try Supraforums or the Supra mailing list.

I am not sure if the 1JZ ever came in LHD configuration, so you could have a big job ahead of you. Might be best to get an auto electrician to have a look at it?

Definitely let us know how it turns out though.

apparently the wiring is a bit of a hassle, 'cause your ecu will be on the wrong side.
but if you're going 1jz, an aftermarket ecu would be a good investment

Try the forums at http://www.i-supra.com, there's a 1JZ section there with mostly US-based members who should be able to give you the info you need.

Note that the 1JZ-GTE is a JDM-only engine, so you won't find a LHD version anywhere.
