I know this'll sound dumb but, I just got a TA23 and I was told it was lowered but I forgot to find out how much it had been lowered. Is there any way of measuring??
Thanks,

This is from the Qld department of transport:
The road clearance of a motor car must not be less than 100mm
measured at any part of the vehicle other than the wheel rim
or brake backing plates. (This does not apply where a lesser
clearance has been specified by the manufacturer.)
That's to find out if it's legal.
To see if it's lowered, a picture of your car from the side, on the ground with standard sized wheels, we should be able to tell you straight away.

What i would do to find out how much its lowered is pick up a phone and call the guy who u purchased the car off and ask him
if that technique fails, ask someone with a stock TA23 what the clearance is from the ground to the sides of the car, front middle and rear, for the sake of being more precise
and then compare it to your car
make sure both cars being compared have a stock rolling circumference for the wheels....and make sure its one flat ground....once again for a more accurate reading
Hope that helps

calling wont help, I don't have his number anymore
It is definatly within the QLD legal limits, the lowest part (being the bulky bit of the muffler) is 120mm of clearance
will post a pic as soon as I get the camera working.
any other sugestions?
