How have people with a turbo ra23 mounted a front mount intercooler, and more importantly, where have they run the intercooler piping? I've been told that you can't cut holes in the front of the car or it can't be engineered, so I'm a bit stuck for where to put the pipes. Where have other people put them?

Theres' some little tabs covering holes for the bumber bar brackets, I just removed them and had enough space for 2.25 inch pipes. Chris.

Hey bud, I had an RA28 with a 1GGTE in it, I ran the intercooler pipes vertically either side of the radiator. On the radius rod brackets, there are metal tabs which can be folded out of the way to give a triangular opening. I know it will drop the pipes below the radiator support crossmember, but even with the car lowered I had no clearance problems.
Regards Chuck.

Mine go through holes cut in the radiator supports either side of the radiator. It is not primary structure, so the engineer shouldn't have any probs with it.
