 Yojimbo Bucks party cruise

Hi Guys
Its my bucks party this weekend, and after a lot of stuffing around with other ideas, I have setteld on a failsafe cruise as entertainment during the day of my Bucks party.
Everyone is welcome, of course - however there will be a high concentration of turbo's and HPerf 6's and 8's.
The nature of the cruise will be ( to quote the old term) extremely "unofficial".
The plan is to head out to some open roads for a bit of a squirt returning by mid afternoon to have a few beers before heading into the city for quite a few more.
I wont post details here except that the group will be gathering in hornsby at about 10 am on saturday the 12th.
So in short...
3 hour blast cruise -
leave 10 am saturday the 12th of april.

Oh man, this sounds like a great day, I'd love to be there, but I'm working a 12 hour shift that night, so I'm gonna need to be sleeping most of the day.
BTW, how's your intercooler upgrade going?

it'll only be for 3- 4 hours anyway !
Cmon u wont be disappointed.
Cooler is being planned for after easter, Custom 600 x 380 x 100mm CORE!!!, another tune up and a new fuel pump to see if i cant beat some of my dyno gremlins !

Yeah well, I might be able to make it. Im sure it'd be well worth it. I guess sleep is a bit overrated!

Damn Matt,
Wish I'd known about this a couple of weeks ago!! As it stands I ended up making plans for this weekend already.. Big shame, it sounds like a lot of fun!!

a couple of soarers
2002 wrx
various other 1j powered conveyances. (cressida's and mkII's)
All are welcome to cruise and then for drinks in the city afterwards, at some stage we will go by Paddy's to see Luke play.

OK here are the details for Saturday’s Bucks Party Cruise.
Meet at Thornleigh Maccas @ 10.30 am.
Try to leave by 11.15 am.
Head out through galston gorge to wisemans ferry.
Stop to let the brakes / nerves recover before crossing on the ferry and heading back to gosford the long way.
Depend
ing on what people want on the day we may go into Terrigal for a late lunch.
Return to Sydney via the old pacific h’way.
If people want they can join me at my place in Chatswood for a few quiet drinks before we maybe go out to find dinner and then into the rocks to drink too much .

Sorry Matt, I don't think I'm gonna be able to make it, I just got home from work after a 12 hour shift, so I might go to sleep now.
I hope everything goes really well, both tomorrow & the following weekend (and the one after that?).

Hope yas had a great night last night Matty!! Was a good cruise indeed, well for the last half that we were there anyways. Too bad we missed two turn offs!!
I was spewin I couldn't have my MZ20 there aswell, damn you 7M headgasket damn you!!!! 
P.S. I think my ears are still ringing from when we regrouped on the old pac!!!

found out why i was chewing that tyre 
The old pan hard rod cleared the diff at all heights....
i didnt check the new one which is heaps thicker.... it just nicks when the wheels sink right in and it throws the right wheel forward into the guard!!!!!
looks like i will have adjustable rods for dubbo too!!!!

Yeah GREAT CRUISE !! Thanks guys for coming to make it one of the best cruises I've had.
Must have been the fattest lineup of any cruise so far.
I hope someone has photo's suitable to post up here to make you all jealous of what a great day u mised.
I promise next time I'll give more notice so that more people can attend, the route is in my opinion the best fast lap cruise available in the Sydney area.
I got home at 5 am this morning after WAY WAY too many burbons amid beers and wine as well.
We lost a few along the way , and we had no other way to make contact.
To The corolla and the burgundy 1j cressida, thanks for coming guys I am not sure where you ended up, I am sorry i didnt get to talk much on the day but i didnt plan on us being separated so early.
Once Again , GREAT cruise !!
