How does the TVIS work?? does it work off vacuum or electric trigger? or combo of both,

Not 100% but I "think" its vacume...

Maybe club4ag have it up on their site?

i do remember un plugging a connector from under the manafold when i pulled out the factory computer,

Its an eletric trigger from the ecu at a set RPM (4200 I think?) which opens a vacume valve to the large black vacume resivior (under the intake) which links to the actuator to keep the TVIS butterflies open

Yeah, electric vacuum switch, but the butterflys are springloaded open, the vacuum is used to close them below 4200.

JDM 4AGE's had both map and AFM depending on year and model they came in
