TA22 Intercooler

I know this has been done to death.I have looked at using a vr4 intercooler with 4agte on a ta22 but it seems that vr4 intercoolers are becoming rare to get. Are there any better or similar coolers available, could you use original 4agze top mounted cooler on front??

you could but they are very poor and inefficent intercoolers, just keep ya eyes peeled i see the jap spec vr4 coolers come up regualarly, ya just have to be prepared to pay for them

cheers for that  , i seen them on a eastern importers web site for about $500. do you know if vr4 has been used on ta22 (can it fit on front of car?), I think yogi has a vr4 from the pics??

I'm using a air to air intercooler of a ST185 in my TA22 , It fits in easy .

Not sure what the cost would be as the one I got came with a motor I bought , I will get some pics on the weekend .

there was a st185 Air to Air intercooler for sale in the for sale bit a little while back - good coolers - cept on a gt4 where they arelocated they suffer heatsoak ..
on a ta22 in front mount - it would do a good job
