7M-GTE Top Radiator Hose

Howdy folks
I've been fortunate enough to acquire a tiny little crack in the top radiator hose on my 7M-GTE which is spraying coolant all over the joint. I called my local Autopro who then proceeded to tell me that my car doesn't exist
I then called Toyota! who had no listings for my MZ20 but also couldn't tell me whether the hose was the same for the 7M-GTE powered MA70 Supra or the 7M-GE powered Cressidas.
I now turn to you guys - i'd love to get the car back on the road reasonably soonish so!... can i replace my Soarer's top radiator hose with one from another 7M-GTE powered car?

I think they may be the same. Here is a pic of my engine, check it out compared to yours, and you can work out if the hose is the same.

Looks similar to mine!
I wonder if its the same as a Cressida... they're the easiest to get parts for

just take yours off, go to repco (or similar) and ask for a cressida top radiator hose from a 7MGE. When they bring it out, check it against yours, and if they are the same, then hey, buy it !! That is probably a good way to do it.
I am currently searching the net for a pic of a 7MGE in an aussie delivered cressida to see if it is the same as yours and mine. I will get back to you if i find one.

I'm pretty sure I've got one of these at home! Looks like Kristian's with the wrapping around it.

this is a pic of celicamad's cressida 7mge before he ripped it out to put the 1JZGTE in. The hose looks exactly the same as yours and mine. Repco should have one.

Thanks for that Pete. How much cash do you want for it IF you find it??
I still want to get one before then so i can actually go on that particular run.
Here's a pic of a guy with a 7M-GE Cressida. I reckon it looks the same.

I don't want any money for it. Like I was telling Kristian, if you have a small extra part hanging around that someone else on toymods needs, then give it to them.

I really appreciate the offer Pete and once i accumulate enough parts in my garage i'd love to be able to do the same
I just called Toyota back and he described the Cressida one to me, even describing the little heat sleeve that goes over it!
$11.60 for a brand new one haha

On another note!
See the last picture I posted of the 7M-GE Cressida with the red cam covers
theres a lead coming out of the top of his thermostat that travels off to the driver side of the car and into a little "thing" above his air cleaner
You guys got any idea what that is?

Anyone have a spare HKS GT3040 turbo they dont need ?
Or a 2JZGTE ?? Anyone ?? naa, just kidding....
Yeah, HKSPete is right. If it is something small, and you give it to someone, the favour will come back to you when you need something for yourself.
Pete gave me an intake pipe for my 7MGTE for free (or a beer, if I remember correctly  ) and then He told me he was after a particular number plate braket like the one on my supra.
I said, hey, I have one, Its yours, free.
Pete's got a good idea, I think we should keep it going.

That hose is probably for the temp gauge. Its prob different to ours cause of it being NA and all!  Not too sure, but that would be my un-educated guess !

I think that might be a type of idle up guys.
The tube goes to the air filtered air pipe then into the thermostat that changes with the coolant temp letting less air into the engine when cold and closing off when hot.

At least know we've all learned that the Soarer, Supra and Cressida all use the same top radiator hoses! yayyy

That "thing" is a temperature valve used to open up to let fuel vapours from the gas tank go to the charcoal canister.
