4AGTE owners: where does your oil drain go? Thu, 10 April 2003 10:41 Go to next message
where do you have your oil drain from the turbo returning to? I've got mine in pretty much the same position on the sump as the HKS kit, yet oil backs up the return pipe! It seems to be below the oil level in the sump, but I cant really get it any higher Crying or Very Sad

thanks in advance

Phil

i put mine (a 5/8 internal dia pipe) brazed into my sump at about the same spot the 4age has it's return banjo fitting from the oil cooler. maybe just a little higher.

my oil level in the sump is at the correct level, and i can take off the turbo return line and it doesnt spill out.
but if i am parked with the front of the car down, it will back up the drain.
