i have a ra65 with a 1jz-gte and i need to know what kind of diffs i can get to handle around 300rwhp. am i better of replacing the whole irs rear end or upgrading the diff with something else? like a commodore diff?

RA65 should be F series open IRS so the LSD from a MA61 supra will bolt right into there, and while your at it u can put the rear disc brakes from the MA61 on too.

as for how much power the F series diff takes, i dont know for sure but i would say around 300HP.


also we are still waiting on pictures of your transmission tunnel with that R154 slotted in there...

F series rear ends seem to hold up behind the torque of a boosted 7M, so it shouldn't have any problems with a 1JZ. Mine is handling the 2JZ no problems at all so far.
