damb car registration is stupid.. it goes up a few dollars every month... is that liek that in all the other states apart from queensland?

its stoopid that a 4 cylinder suba-poo that weighs 1400+kilos (therefore doing more damage to the roads) and they can pay less than a V6 commodore of the same weight?? i mean, the whole god damn system is fuct
we should have to pay by weight of vehicle... not cylinders... and they should make bicycle riders pay rego for that 1 meter wide lane on the side of the road... better yet... kick them of the road alltogether, make them pay for there own fuckin riding paths...

I'm pretty sure down here in sunny sydney we do pay by car weight 
or at the least, it's a combination of weight and cylinders, or weight and engine displacement.
I remember my friends exa (<1000kg) cost him less than my sleeka

In Vic it is pretty much a uniform cost per year, regardless of vehicle type. I know in the country area's they get a discount though, but ours seem to go up about $10 or so every year.
