My two cars run on one of the following (depending what's available... all are 98RON):
- BP Ultimate: Good fuel, get better economy, and is cheaper than Optimax
- Shell Optimax/Mobil 8000: Good fuel, a bit better fuel economy than on reg. unleaded, but sometimes bloody expensive
- Caltex Vertex Gold: Good as well, between the prices of BP Ultimate and Shell Optimax/Mobil 8000
BTW I've got a 1993 Soarer 2.5GT and a 1999 Tarago in the driveway, and both get treated to 98RON fuel

A Supra will be happier on high-octane fuel. Regular unleaded is 91 RON while premium unleaded is at least 95 RON (the minimum octane levels are set by the government). Some fuels are 98 RON, eg Shell Optimax and BP Ultimate 98. Note that 100 RON fuel is available in Japan, so most of their high-performance cars (eg Supras) are tuned to run on that.
So to answer your question, always run the highest octane fuel you can find! The car will run smoother, fuel economy will improve, and it will perform better also.
